He began his career at the early age of 19 experimenting with Techno & Trance releasing his first EP ‘Contact In Roswell’ under the alias, Legotronic. As Derrick Da House, Josue draws inspiration from legends such as Frankie Knuckles, Kevin Sanderson, and Derrick May to name a few. His current productions are heavily influenced from the sounds of Chicago house, Detroit Techno, and garage house of the 90s. His sound has gained worldwide recognition in the underground scene and heavy support from the artists & labels in the UK. You’ll find Josue’s productions on numerous labels such as Crazy Monk Records (South Africa), Pogo House Records (UK), and Pure Beats Records (UK). Adding to the resume, is his bi-weekly podcast series ‘Strictly House’ curating modern house cuts as well as paying homage to the classic old school sound.
