“Young Berlin-based Friedrich Raphael started producing music in 2015 and DJing in 2016. Moreover, he’s creating art in the form of architectural collages. Especially through his project “Nautilus”, an arts and music events series, he built a large fan base in Berlin.
You can catch him regularly playing house and disco sets in clubs like Griessmühle, Watergate, Prince Charles, Kater Blau or in warehouse “off-spaces” during events of his project Halle113 or during the “Toy Tonics Jams” in the German capital.
With “FRUIT SALAD”, Friedrich is releasing his long-awaited debut EP on the Spanish Disco and House label theBasement Discos.Like preparing a salad out of different varieties of fresh fruit, Friedrich Raphael built the tracks on this EP by putting together funky Japanese disco samples from the 80s, catchy melodies, groovy drums and percussion elements.
Belgian talent Olivier Verhaeghe is doing what he is best in and serves a tasty remix of Friedrich’s track “Blueberry” to round out the track menu on “FRUIT SALAD”.” – theBasement Discos
